A visual representation of what it's like to feel helpless, alone, and disheartened. When you have no one to hold onto, you can only hold yourself. However if you are a Christian like i am, you know that you are never alone and never helpless. God is always present, even if He may not seem like it. Throughout high school, my relationship with God has been turbulent. There have been times where I turned away from Him, thinking that I'd be able to do things by my own power. However, try as I might, there is only so much that I can do as a human who tries their best yet makes mistakes over and over again. This piece is a reminder to myself that we as humans are far from perfect, but we have a loving God who always has our backs, no matter how alone we feel.
