I tried to capture emotions that I am feeling during quarantine. This is the feeling of being held captive and being lost in my own thoughts. As of right now a lot of people are stuck at home due to Covid-19. I wanted this piece to express how I personally felt during the beginning of quarantine. I depicted Billie Eilish as the subject of my painting, as she displays the emotions of feeling alone and helpless She is shown in chains with black tears coming down her face. Billie is seen as a singer who is expressive and often displays sadness within her songs. She helps to convey how I personally feel during these unprecedented times.
